What if I told you I’m not happy with this portfolio?
Proud? Yes.
But happy? Not even close.
To be happy, I would have to be content.
And (un)fortunately, my dreams won’t let me settle.
I’m the type of guy to start playing soccer at 13, with his shinguards on the outside of his socks, and think he’ll be a college recruit.
I captained an NCAA DII team my Senior year.
I’m the type of guy whose single-mother never owned a home, but thought he could buy land in another country.
I closed the deal myself.
In Spanish.
Did I mention I didn’t grow up speaking Spanish?
I guess these are roundabout ways of saying:
I want to make work that shakes the world.
To tell stories and create experiences that move us to care more; not just for ourselves, but for the people and places around us.
To inspire change through the beauty, innovation, and grit of humanity.
So, while these projects are steps on that journey, they’re not the destination. not I’m still damn proud of them.
But they’re a part of my story and every single one has been done with a team of brilliant folks that makes me and my pen sharper.
As for the global impact?
It’s only a matter of time.
And who knows, maybe we’ll do it together? You and I.
